- Applicants who have lived in China before and want to get a Chinese Police Clearance Certificate.
- Notes: If the applicant is a Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan citizen, the original and copy of Home Return Permit or Taibao Zheng or Hong Kong/Macau ID card is needed, a record to prove the stay in Shanghai (for example: the employment contract with a Shanghai company or Shanghai employment permit plus entry/exit record) to replace the above item (1) (passport).

Photocopy of entry records (entry/exit stamps)
Tax clearance certificate
A power of attorney
Employment contract for a company in Shanghai (employee)
Registration Form of Temporary Residence for period of living in China
